Description
Juicy chicken skewers coated in garlic and parmesan, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into chunks
- 4 cloves garlic, minced (or garlic powder)
- 1/2 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or a mix of oregano and parsley)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Skewers (metal or wooden, soaked in water for 20-30 mins)
Instructions
- Cut the chicken into pieces that are about the same size. Toss with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and half of the parmesan.
- Melt butter and stir in minced garlic (or mix garlic powder into the butter). Let it sit for a minute.
- Pour the garlic butter over the chicken and toss for a glossy coating.
- Thread chicken onto skewers, leaving space between pieces.
- Preheat the air fryer if necessary. Cook at 380°F for 10-14 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Sprinkle the remaining parmesan on right when they come out of the air fryer.
Notes
Chicken is done when it reaches 165°F in the thickest piece. Skewers are versatile and can be made ahead of time.
