Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers

Description

Juicy chicken skewers coated in garlic and parmesan, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into chunks
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced (or garlic powder)
  • 1/2 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or a mix of oregano and parsley)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (metal or wooden, soaked in water for 20-30 mins)


Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into pieces that are about the same size. Toss with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and half of the parmesan.
  2. Melt butter and stir in minced garlic (or mix garlic powder into the butter). Let it sit for a minute.
  3. Pour the garlic butter over the chicken and toss for a glossy coating.
  4. Thread chicken onto skewers, leaving space between pieces.
  5. Preheat the air fryer if necessary. Cook at 380°F for 10-14 minutes, flipping halfway.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining parmesan on right when they come out of the air fryer.

Notes

Chicken is done when it reaches 165°F in the thickest piece. Skewers are versatile and can be made ahead of time.
