Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prep the chicken: Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Tenderize (Optional): Use a meat mallet to gently pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
- Make the marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth.
- Coat the chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the bowl with the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated on all sides. Allow marinating for at least 15-30 minutes.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Cook the chicken: Place the marinated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let it rest: Carefully take the chicken breasts out using tongs or a spatula and let them rest for about 5 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy: Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, slice, and serve with your favorite seasonal sides.
